Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Fantastic experience! Breathtaking location, wonderful dinner, kind and helpful staff, great accommodation. We loved this place and we've already recommended it to all our friends.

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property and the Slatina Beach is just 100 metres away. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt cared for. From the friendly reception to the attentive service throughout our stay, they made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning!
