We arrived a bit early, by our own fault, but she was kind enough to provide the room earlier. Location cannot be beat, right in the heart of it all but at the same time you can get a good and quiet nights rest. Lovely room, bed, bathroom, every facility and amenity one might need is there.

Situated in the heart of the historic town, this hotel, built in 1893, is the oldest in Sopron. It offers a fusion of traditional and modern hospitality. Free WiFi is provided on-site. This is an elegant hotel from a bygone era, but the facilities and the service are everything you would expect from a modern hotel. My room was large and beautifully furnished, the delicious buffet breakfast is served in a banquet room with fancy furniture and crystal chandeliers. All of that, and the price I paid for the room was so reasonable! I kept sending pictures to my friends and family saying, "Can you believe I'm getting ALL THIS for THIS MUCH money?
