Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views. Great stay and made feel very welcome by the fantastic guys on reception. Great selection for breakfast. Room very spacious with a lovely sea view. 10 minutes from the beach. Restaurant/ bar next door. We decided to stay again a day later and were upgraded to a suite which made the weekend. Will definitely be back.

The spacious rooms at the Waterfront feature TVs, work desks and seating areas. Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing equipment, large bathrooms and some rooms have Atlantic Ocean views. We really appreciated the location of the hotel at sea front. Our room had a huge window facing the beach and offered such a marvellous view. The hotel's restaurant offers very good food. As cyclists, we were warmly welcomed and could let ours bikes safely. The breakfast was excellent.
