Leenane Hotel is family-run hotel, where fresh seafood from the harbour and vegetables from the hotel garden are used every day. The hotel was beautiful in an awesome location. The room was spotless, and breakfast was phenomenal. I was shocked that a breakfast this wonderful was included with the stay! We also had dinner in the restaurant and the mussels were the best I’ve ever had.

Abbeyglen Castle Hotel was built in 1832 and offers a new beauty and relaxation centre, and many indoor and outdoor facilities. We are usually budget travelers and this was a bit of a splurge for us. It was worth it. It was nice to have a room for the adults and one for our kid. The seating area with a fireplace was also very nice. The breakfast was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the birds/crickets chirping. It was so peaceful. The town was a five minute walk away and had all of the amenities we needed. It was wonderful to have the best of both worlds. Tranquility and convenience together in one location without breaking the bank. Two thumbs up.

Dun Ri Guest House serves both full Irish and lighter breakfast options. All are freshly prepared with locally sourced produce, homemade breads and preserves. One of the best breakfast I've had at a hotel! The staff was just amazing and the room very comfortable. I would love to come back :)

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town.

There are 3 apartments with private external entrance - 2 x one-bedroom on the ground floor and 1 x two-bedroom self-catering apartment on the first floor, upstairs and 3 further apartments located in the main building, entered by the main entrance - 2 x one bedroom and one x 2 bedroom, these are located on the first floor -upstairs. We had a really great stay at Buttermilk. The lodge is surrounded by greenery but 5 minutes walk from Clifden centre. The staff is super nice, the structure and rooms are cozy and clean and breakfasts are GREAT! It's a perfect position to visit Connemara and would absolutely recommend it.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Good location.
