We particularly enjoyed the location and warm welcome and helpfulness of the owners. The weather was great and we could go for a swim at Dog’s bay and a walk across Roundstone. The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. A really lovely hotel to stay for reasonable price. Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast. Sited amid of town. Really nice restaurants and bars around. No elevator in the hotel, though.
