Just 500 metres North of Carlow in a quiet mature area (a 10-minute stroll), Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for touring the South-East of Ireland. Amazingly clean and the room we were in had a great sized bathroom with a very good walk in shower! Tom was a perfect host, and he was always on hand to help at any time!

Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious! Room very nice and clean! Very nice staff in the restaurant and in reception!

In the centre of Carlow town, Dinn Ri Hotel features boutique rooms, an on-site nightclub and live band venue, and an outdoor terraced bar. The stylish sports bar includes three 48-inch plasma TVs. Breakfast was not included in the price of my booking.
