In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Everything was exceptional, from the sauna to the breakfast I could not find fault, staff were nice in a genuine way!

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. I was astounded when I walked into the room and saw the lounge area, huge TV, lovely bedroom and large bathroom. On checkout I was told I had been upgraded to the presidential suite, which was amazing. Breakfast was buffet style, with all you could ask for. A wonderful stay.

Located in Athlone town centre, Arch House is just 2 minutes' walk from the historic Athlone Castle, Old Town, and River Shannon. Very warm friendly and helpful owners at this B and B and was pleased we stayed there. Was in a great location to all the sites in this gorgeous town. And thankyou for helping us find more accommodation in this town to stay another night. We loved this town.
