We will definitely be back - this was the kids favourite spot other than ashford castle!!

A beautifully restored 18th Century coaching inn, Conyngham Arms Hotel in Slane village offers luxurious accommodation in Ireland’s County Meath. A 2-minute drive from Slane Castle, it has a restaurant and garden, and provides free Wi-Fi and parking. Room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Shower was nice and water was hot. The restaurant/bar attached was excellent. This was the last night of our 2 week Ireland trip and, by far, the best dinner we had anywhere. If you stay there, eat there.

The pool was clean and tidy as are as the changing rooms. Very friendly staff and very comfortable beds.An excellent family friendly hotel.

The hotel includes a very cozy pub, with good pub food (try the mushy peas!), super friendly and helpful staff, the locals are happy to chit-chat (if you want). The rooms are comfortable and it was also easy to get to from the airport and Dublin center by bus. It sits right in the center of Ashbourne.
