Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free. La Badia is an old Villa which is charismatic, romantic and located up in the hills with a perfect view Sorrento and the Gulf of Naples. In our opinion this was the perfect location, 10 minute walk down a hill to the busy town. We wanted something quiet, comfortable with parking in Sorrento and La Badia delivered and beyond. The breakfast buffet was really nice as well the snack time in the afternoon. Service was wonderful and the front desk always ready to assists with our needs. The pool area was nice and the pool was the perfect temperature. Rooms are nice and comfortable beds, bathrooms was a little bit small but nothing to complain about. Loved our stay and would definitely come back for another visit.

We had a very comfortable room with a queen size and a twin bed. The rain shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. Air conditioning was excellent as well as WiFi and tv. The staff was very helpful and happily answered any questions we had about how to get around in Pompeii and good restaurants. There was a lovely little garden where we winded down our days with a cocktail prepared in the bar. Breakfast was more than adequate and the bonus was that it was 2 blocks from the train station station and a 15 minute walk from the entrance to the archeological site of Pompeii
