It is less than a 10-minute drive from Trieste. This hotel is just spectacular! It is located several minutes of car ride away from Trieste. We had a waterfront room with the most wonderful view and an unbelievably comfy bed. The breakfast was amazing. The whole place was spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly kind and charming. Also, there's a free parking next to the hotel.

This is a real B&B, the hosts live on the premises and there are only 3 rooms, so it's really cozy. The house is amazingly designed, full of eye-candy and style, you can tell that the hosts took years collecting nice things and arranging them around the property for their own enjoyment -- but now you can enjoy them as well! They are super nice and friendly, if you want advice on what to do around town or just a nice chat over breakfast, they are always around (but not so much "around" that you feel uncomfortable at all!) The rooms are spacious and each has something great -- a balcony overlooking the yard or a jacuzzi -- and the beds are great. The furnishings are high-quality, better than you would get in most hotels. If you are arriving by car, there is parking on the premises -- but do listen to the hosts about the direction you should approach the house from, otherwise you can have a challenging drive up the narrow and steep alleys (but the way they advise is totally without issues, even if 2-3 minutes longer). All in all, a great experience and we will surely be back!

I stayed in this apartment 10 years ago, came back now, and will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Trieste. I personally really like it – it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host is extremely kind and truly makes sure you feel at home. For example, I forgot to mention that I have a special diet, and when I told her not to worry about it, she still brought me delicious pastries from excellent local pastry shops every day. Such a wonderful host – truly exceptional!
