The hotel is located in what I think is the main street of Monterosso Al Mare, a few minutes walk from the train station and the beach. The staff spoke Italian, English and Spanish. They remembered we speak Spanish and greeted us everytime with a warm "buenos días!" They were very helpful. The room was spacious, sunny and airy, with a super comfy bed, a huge balcony with a great view. The bathroom was comfortable as well, the shower had great water pressure! A nice shampoo was provided. Everything was super clean. We had plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets. The breakfast was fresh and super complete. It had plenty of veggie options, a plus because I travelled with my mum who is vegetarian. A plus, they offered towels for going to the beach which was great!

The accommodation was great totally recommend One thing though, I have stayed all over the world and met loads of nice people. however the family that owns Villa Marcella are the nicest people I’ve ever met. Built in 19th century, the property is within 1.7 km of Le Terrazze Shopping Centre. The guest house has family rooms. The room was very big, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well presented, and the shower was spacious. The property was only a few minutes' walk to the train station for day trips to Cinque Terre and for going to other towns. There are many restaurants close by and for those wanting an English breakfast there is a restaurant just around the corner where to can get bacon and eggs. It is only a short stroll to the Marina and well worth the visit to see the super yachts moored there. Riccardo was an excellent host and his recommendations for restaurants were great. We took the bus to Portovenere. I would highly recommend this day trip. I would most definitely stay in this apartment again if I came to La Spezia.

Couldn't recommend Affittacamere Le Giare enough, we had a wonderful stay here. Rooms were very clean ans spacious with a gorgeous little balcony and view. Our host was very helpful and the train station and town centre is only a short walk away

Complimentary cold water, juice and few snacks. The host was very friendly, greeted us outside in order to not wander looking for the appartment. The location is also really great.

Roberto was a very thoughtful host and gave us detailed guidance on how to reach the property without having to drag our luggage up the very steep hill. The view on the way was a great plus. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped.
