I arrived late from a flight to Orio al Serio and was welcomed at the door - my room was on the ground floor and was very clean with a lovely bathroom so I had a nice hot shower after I arrived. I was worried that there might be a lot of airport noise but I could barely hear the planes. In the morning, I was delighted to learn a bit more about the 18th century house in the courtyard which had been renovated by the owners (details in the guest information). I just needed a place to crash overnight after a flight but this exceeded my expectations! Breakfast was excellent and I got some good advice about taking a bus to the città alta.
