Location is perfect: close to everything but still quiet. Very comfortable beds. The breakfast was AMAZING! The owner was very responsive and welcoming!

The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel.

Their recommendations - beaches, restaurants, etc - were all spot on! Breakfast was very good; Location is best in-class too.

Super flexible and when I had to work a little later he gave us a later checkout. He also gave us a complimentary upgrade in rooms! The space was HUGE and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. There was coffee and small snacks. There was milk in the fridge and water! Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Gianluca is an amazing host with plenty of recommendations- even when we were traveling outside Cagliari. We arrived very late and he had provided access codes for ease of entry. We had a terrace that we didn’t use - a bit warm and AC units are enclosed in wood in one side. Nice bathroom and breakfast provided at a nearby cafe.
