The family-run Domus Antica Aosta is located in Aosta. Rooms include free WiFi and a free minibar. The host was delightful and gave us a friendly welcome. The room is beautiful and so comfortable with every possible extra - a fridge stocked with delicious treats and a coffee machine and home made apple tart on arrival.

With views of the Chetif and Checrouit Mountain, Hotel Bouton d’Or – Courmayeur offers alpine-style accommodation in in the heart of Courmayeur. The hotel is really pretty. The room was quite large, very clean and with all the right amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was leaving very early in the morning (6:30am), so they insisted in making me a sandwich. My stay was part of my TMB, so I was there only for 14 hours. I hope to come back one day and spend a few extra days.

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had steam bath / sauna capability, but we did not use it. We had our own deck with table and chairs to enjoy the mountain view on. Self-serve espresso any time of the day. Breakfasts were great with freshly made cake each day. Host was very friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable.
