Certain rooms include an en suite bathroom. Toiletries and slippers are provided for in the private and shared bathroom. Excellent service, great amenities, the foot bath was very relaxing. Shuttle service to the ferry was fast and quite practical. Breakfast was nutritional and balanced. Overall a fantastic experience~

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. Everything was exceptional. We loved the Oyado Tsukiusagi! It had the most comfortable futon beds we experienced through our 5 weeks of traveling through Japan, a beautiful and clean room, and the lady at the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really love Miyajima so we were very happy that we could stay at the island through the night.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Great, spacious room, friendly staff, beautiful view of the sea. We arrived a little early but they were happy to let us check in early. The room was comfortable too, and the hotel is very central on the island.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Everything was great. Small, charming, bit vintage, greeny facility with great staff
