it was a door code, but there was someone on hand to give me the details. The accommodation itself was very traditional and a little spartan but felt very authentic. Tatami mats and screens. The real deal. It was a little old-fashioned in interior design, but clean and none the worse for that. I loved the fact it came with a couple of old school clunky bikes, that I used to go to Naoshima island

The bathroom had a window with curtain (fortunately). The water temperature and pressure were stable. The bathtub was big by Japan standards. The shower curtain was well-designed and blocked water effectively.

Everything! Wonderful staff, great location, tasteful design.

it was a full enjoyment for people who care about details, impressed by the owner's great sense of interior design!! A perfect place to stay before starting a museum trip in Naoshima.

i love everything about it. location was superb. literally in front of Uno station, and 4 mins walk to Port. reception and common area are spacious and well equipped. staffs were great. great designed hotel. room was great and satisfying. bed was comfy. i can only say good thing about it

great design, super friendly staff, big room, very clean, large bathroom with a bathtub and a built-in tv in it 😅 (plus another display incorporated in the mirror to … not get bored while you … brush your teeth???) really great place, there was also a pool-table at the reception and a fun room at the 2nd floor with table tennis and a karaoke machine. 10-15 mins by bus to the train station; didn’t really have the time to check the neighbourhood, we only used it to camp during the night. all in all, great place!

This is not just a hotel but an establishment with interesting history. the interior design is beautiful the room was spacious and well organized with a huge TV and very good bathroom. The breakfast is very good. The service is immaculate.

Beautiful interior design with lots of details. All the amenities I needed. Very friendly staff in the cool downstairs bar.
