Nice lake view and quiet location. Room is clean, comfortable and large space. Public Onsen is nice too. Hotel provides bar to have some drink but it is mormally close at 7 am so I did not have chance to come back on time so if hotel can close the bar more lately it should be nice.

The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

The property is a 15-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Staying at Lake Villa Kawaguchiko was truly an exceptional experience, making our trip to the Mount Fuji area unforgettable. The villa was spacious, incredibly clean, & well-maintained, giving us a comfortable and homey, mountain lodge feel. The accommodation provided a mix of bedding styles, including comfortable Western beds & the unique experience of setting up our own futons on the traditional tatami flooring. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to whip up quick meals during our stay.We were impressed that they provide amenities & access to natural spring water from Mt. Fuji for drinking and general use.The hot shower system had good water pressure, although I would advise bringing slippers as the bathroom floor tiles can be cold. The location is absolutely perfect, offering a stunning, unblocked view of Mount Fuji, which we could often see from the car park. It is situated perfectly for sightseeing and relaxation, being a short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko and super near to the famous Maple Corridor, also known as Momiji Kairo. We were able to walk there to enjoy the autumn scenery, festive atmosphere, food trucks and stalls. The hospitality provided by Hiro san & the staff truly stands out. Hiro san was the best host I have ever met, offering genuine kindness, being very responsive, & giving us fantastic, spot-on recommendations for dining and activities that turned out to be the best of our entire trip. The staff were super friendly and helpful, speaking English well & providing useful information about the surrounding area. The hotel shuttle service offered to & from Kawaguchiko station was a great help for our travel plans. For animal lovers, a charming bonus was the presence of many adorable resident cats around the reception area.

Walking distance to Nirasaki Station. Mountain inspired interior design which suits us a lot as we just came down from Mt. Utsugi and going to climb Kai-Komagatake the day after. Clean, great kitchen area.
It’s very lovely house with nice Japanese design. Very spacious compared to normal houses in Japan. Amazing view. Host provided bicycles and board games. It’s simply amazing. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Mt Fuji next time.
Lovely, comfortable room. Design is a bit outdated, but it's authentic and super clean. The view is not that impressive but it's very relaxing. I was lucky to have the onsen for myself when I went there. Great experience!
Lovely design of property. Had a view of Mount Fuji from our room which we woke up to. Clean. Amenities provided. Nice outdoor area also. About 10 minutes walk from Lake Kawaguchiko station so not far at all - walk is not difficult but just to be aware.
This is the most warm, cosy and comforting hostel I have ever been in. It is small which allows you to really get to know other travels and the host. The host is an incredibly polite, inviting and warm person who cooked us a beautiful local style breakfast each morning. The interior design take an old Japanese home to a warm country like feel, with low-fi music playing in common areas.
Stylish n well designed
This hotel is gorgeous! And has stunning views right of Mt. Fuji - unfortunately we only stayed one night and wasn’t very visible in the morning however it cleared up during the day as we explored the town and I can only imagine the view you’d actually have if it was clear during your stay. It’s only a short walk from the station and a few near by restaurants. The rooms are quite big - biggest ones we’ve stayed in while travelling Japan. Staff are lovely and check in and out is very easy.
One of my favourite stays during a month in Japan. Definitely more of a boutique guest house than a hostel. Beautiful design and very comfortable rooms. Lovely communal space with nice teas available and the sister cafe (where you have the breakfast) was a highlight of my entire trip ( I went 3 times in less than 24 hourse). Location was amazing and I LOVED Fujiyoshida as a little town. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone looking to stay near Fuji. Easy walk to Churieto Pagoda, recommend going for sunrise.
Nice and helpful staff, great design, all clean and pretty.
We enjoyed our stay at Saruya Hostel, a really nice and design place in the main street of Fujiyoshida. Staff is welcoming and room confortable! There's an affordable bike rental so you can enjoy a ride along the lakes, great view on the mount Fuji! Plus, there's a trendy place right across the street where Saruya offers a voucher if you want to enjoy a western breakfast. Definetely worth a stay!
