Location in the town is perfect and breakfast is great. The staff went out of their way to help us rearrange our journey during the bad weather.

The house itself and the surrounding area are very tidy , beautiful and clean. The owner, his family, and the assistant are friendly and pleasant people. There are tables and chairs on the premises, perfect for relaxing. There's also a shared living room where we had interesting conversations with the owner. Additionally, we were taught how to cook jackfruit and banana flower. After cooking, we enjoyed a communal dinner. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything necessary provided. It’s convenient for both short stays and longer-term visits. Thank you for the hospitality. We highly recommend this place for staying in Hikkaduwa!

The room has a lot of space, and the bathroom/shower too. Very clean and comfortable. Totally recommend. The terrace is the perfect spot to see the sunset while you enjoy a nice cocktail or drink from the bar.

It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. Absolutely beautiful Hotel. I would like this to be my home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this area.

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away).

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. Absolutely loved our stay at Dunes, it's everything we needed in Galle/Unawatuna, despite not having a pool the beach is literally down the road so you don't even need the pool. The hotel is in the middle of everything and yet it is very quiet away from the main road. I absolutely loved staying here and wished I could stay longer. We opted for breakfast in the hotel in the morning and it was so entertaining to watch monkeys play in the trees and listening to birds chirping was my favourite part of the day. The room was big and spacious also
