I loved my stay at Bethel. The room was very specious and very clean. There were all facilities from cloth hangers, hair dryer, fridge, kettle.They had hanged mosquito net based on my request before I arrive. They had water filter to refill my bottles and use less plastic. There was hot water at convenient pressure for shower. The room overlooked green area. I felt sad that I couldn't enjoy the view from the balconies of the homestay enough, since I stayed in Kandy 1 day. The hosts were amazing people, very informative and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and of good variety. All from welcome to goodbye went great in their homestay. The rating is reflecting the reality of Bethel😊. For sure I will stay in Bethel, if I go and visit Kandy again one day.

This peaceful hotel is located within 4 km from Kandy Railway Station. Kandy City Centre and the popular Temple of Tooth Relic is only 2 km away while Bandaranaike International Airport is 103 km away. This place is lovely. We loved the family tent, which is a small appartment in itself, with a lot of space (parent’s room, kid’s room, living room, big modern bathroom). It was very clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The set up for pool and meals is gorgeous.

Located in the heart of Kandy City, Villa 49 is 1 km from the famous Temple of Tooth. Its restaurant serves local and Western dishes. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. A cable TV is available in the lobby. An excellent stay at Villa 49. The owner, Shenani was so accommodating and happy to help us with planning our itinerary. Her cooking is also delicious! I highly recommend Villa 49 to anyone travelling to Kandy.

Located just 2.5 km from the holy Sri Dalada Maligawa, Sky Pavilion offers contemporary accommodation overlooking Mahaweli River, the mountains and lush greenery. It provides free Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Everything! 😍 It was a nice surprise The hotel is in the high part of Kandy ( facing knuckles mountain and a golden Buddha), the view is spectacular. The Sky Pavilion is a jewel, decorated with taste, it’s quiet , clean and rooms are beautiful all with the stunning view on the mountains and you can also relax by the pool The manager takes a good care of his guests and the staff is really helpful and nice . They will help you with everything, visits, food and drinks , transportation , money change etc… In addition, the cooking is really good , the breakfast is top ! And finally , their Tuk Tuk driver is a gem, he will take you to the best places in the city . I will come back there .

A big bonus for the swimming pool and great service. All in all a good place to stay. You need a TukTuk to get there, which they arrange free of charge :)

Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. I loved everything about this place the view, the staff and the service. Absolutely fantastic. It's a tranquil and peaceful place. The architecture is beautiful too. Simple and homely breakfast and the balcony view is beautiful overseeing the lake. Thanks a lot for the great stay.

Settle Inn Tourist Lodge is situated in a semi-rural setting just 1 km from Kandy City and the Temple of Tooth Relic. It houses a restaurant and offers complimentary WiFi access and private parking.

The property is a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. Kandy railway and bus stations are about 1 km away, while The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is 40 km away. It is 800 metres away from Kandyan Cultural Centre and 5 km from the Tea Museum. We had two rooms. In one room, we had a 4 year old. There was no charge for him, but an extra bed was provided. Rooms were super clean. Very nice upgraded bathrooms. The host was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good...standard fare with a nice fruit plate. The location was great. We walked to town along the lake. For families, there is a big playground right at the bottom of the hill, on the way to the lake and town.

Queen's Hotel Kandy - 160 Years of Heritage & Luxury is housed in a historical building located 50 metres from Kandy Lake. It offers colonial-style accommodation with an outdoor pool, 3 dining options and free parking on site. I was booked for family room but got the best executive suite for the same budget. For the same reason we decided to extend our stay by one more day in the same suite. And one of the manager there gave us private hotel tour.
