We had a wonderful overnight stay for my husband's 60th. The staff went out of their way to make it special for him with beautiful decorations in the room, as well as a cake, fruit basket and sweets. I love everything about this homestay. The family is awesome, extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room is massive with a pantry and a large bathroom. There were sufficient hangers and a sturdy bar for us to hang our clothes and washing. The mosquito net covering the entire bed is such a wonderful add-on. Really appreciate all these details to ensure our comfort.

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. This was our second stay at Ashburnham Estate, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. There’s a rare quality to this place—an effortless elegance and warmth that welcomes you the moment you arrive. The landscape is breathtaking, with rolling hills, and quiet, expansive views. Every detail of the experience feels considered, from the beautifully curated interiors to the gentle rhythm of each day. The food was exceptional, and prepared and served with genuine hospitality. Ashburnham offers not just a break from the everyday, but a complete shift in pace. The whole fteam is gracious and attentive without ever being intrusive, and their warmth and professionalism enhanced the sense of calm and care. I travel a lot, and I don’t believe there’s anywhere quite like it, thank you Vish, Daniel and the team! We will return again I’m sure!
