This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. The owner is french - like us, it was really nice talking with him. He gave us a map our the recommended restaurants and cenotes nearby. They had some cats, lovely dogs, and even an opossum ? The swimming pool was really nice, we took a lot of bathes in it and were always alone. And the breakfast was also really good.

This hacienda-style hotel is located on Playa del Carmen's Fifth Avenue, one block from the beach. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in every guest room. Perfect, centrally located and yet quiet. The entire staff was really nice and helpful. Would love to come back

The location was amazing, really quite and can enjoy the (private) Beach. We have enjoyed it that much and extended one more Day. The staff are friendly and attentive, plus the breakfast was very good.

Located on the coast of Xcalacoco Beach 10 minutes outside of Playa del Carmen, this luxury resort and spa situated in the tropical rainforest features a restaurant. While planning a winter escape, I focused more on the type of resort rather than location or beach. I wanted to feel pampered, zen and with nature. I had stayed at Viceroy hotels in the US before and always had a good experience, so I was happy to find this one with only 40 or so rooms and the type of setting I was seeking. The care the staff took was unparalleled to any other experience we’ve had. They looked after us, brought us treats, knew our preferences and were always so accommodating. The massage was the best we ever experienced. The vibe of the common areas is low key; no loud music or obnoxious behavior, the food was excellent. The suites are so different from your average resort, the bed was huge and comfortable, each room has an outdoor shower and plunge pool. The rain head showers were a delight with excellent pressure. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place (obviously). If you’re seeking an out-of-the-ordinary adult experience to relax and be pampered, this is the place.

Nestled in a tropical setting, just steps from the beach, this hotel in Tulum is surrounded by a variety of activities and offers amenities such as free wireless internet access. The hotel only opened half a year ago so everything is brand new and super modern. The rooftop pool has a spectacular view and even toilets up there. The beachfront pool is stunning and the restaurant is incredible to eat breakfast there. The staff is the nicest I have met on my trip and they go above and beyond to fulfill your wishes. It's a very safe accomodation. The food you can buy ther is so delicious and the private beach area is an absolute dream. This is probably the most beautiful hotel I've stayed at in Mexico. It will 100% be worth the visit.

Located on Playa del Carmen's vibrant 5th Avenue, Unic Design Hotel is an elegant property offering accommodations just 5 minutes' walk from Mamitas Beach Club. Complimentary breakfast was terrific. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Location could not have been better.

The place it's beautiful , it's like a garden with palm trees very fresh with a lovely pool in the middle. The place was quiet and peaceful, there's a street there but it's not noisy. It's safe on the streets even after dark and there are free parking spaces . The breakfast was really good tasty and fresh. We eat in the garden , in the shadow of the palms, very nice. The rooms was beautiful , the bed big and comfy, lovely bathroom with a big mirror looking in the little private garden. There's a little garden patio with a big fence so there's no view, there was a lot of humidity in the room so even outside our bathing suits were still wet the other day, we had to put them outside laying in the sun. The ac went perfectly.iI recommend this place :) the Mai road with shops and restaurants is near, I recommend Speedy tacos very tasty and good prices. I will come again
