Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. This was really a flawless hotel. I was looking for a heritage hotel and this fit the bill. Stand outs were the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, all of them! The location, the breakfast which offered perfect variety without being an overwhelming buffet, the rooms, the coffee machine and cleanliness were all excellent.

Inspired by Chinese shophouses, the property features a large courtyard and classic wall ornaments. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. Loved the location, close to beach street and little India. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room was very spacious with 4 double beds, more than enough for a family of 4. Even though its location, very central, the rooms are very quiet. I really love the friendliness of the staff. They gave lots of suggestions on where to go or where to eat. Loved the little local desserts every night brought to our room. Even though there are lots of plants around the mansion, there were no mosquitos. ( And I get bitten very easily). The check-in was also very fast. I would definitely return next time we visit George town.

Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. Very beautiful authentic guesthouse. Ruby and Judy were very friendly and eager to help, with advice for things to do and places to eat, but also very caring when I sprained my ankle.

It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. Lovely property , lovingly and tastefully restored. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Room was well appointed and housekeeping excellent. Gorgeous well regarded Italian restaurant on site and surrounding area full of good places to eat. Highly recommended
