Each room at Het Weeshuis features a bathroom and seating area with a separate bedroom. Guests have access to a private living room. They can make use of a spacious garden with donkeys. Guests can also make use of the terrace. Every day we had a beautiful breakfast set up for us in the main gathering room - delicious cheese, breads, pastries, soft boiled egg, fresh juices and coffee/tea. The room was large and the bed was without question like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom had a very nice shower - large towels. The history and architecture add to it's charm. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here every time we visit.

This was an amazing stay, the outside pod cabins are super nice and the view is out of this world! The staff are so friendly and nice, always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast is awesome, all local and home made products, they even requested halal meat for us from the supplier which was so considerate of them. We loved out stay there.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Badhotel is situated next to Podium Vlieland and opposite of Tromp’s Huys Museum. In summer the island of Texel is 30 minutes away by boat. Great central location, very friendly staff. It was very quiet when we stayed so breakfast was specially prepared for us which was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. And the hotel is very dog friendly, first time that any accommodation I stayed in provided a proper dog bed.
