Some rooms have carpeted floors, wooden floors, a work desk and a private bathroom with shower are featured in all rooms at Comfort Hotel Xpress Tromsø. Some rooms offer city and sea views. The 24 hours reception has saved my life. The room was warm and cozy. And I suppose the tap water was drinkable so I drank. Everything is clean and good compared to my last stay: TotalApartments - Stakkevollvegen which is a nightmare(if you see this, don’t go to that property I mentioned.)

The hotel offers a large and varied breakfast buffet, stylish rooms with comfortable armchairs, TV, free wifi and free parking. If I could give this place a 20 out of 10 I would!! It is the most gorgeous place I have been to. The breakfast had a lot of options you could think of, from breads, cerals, hot food, cold meats, fruits, to name a few! The lady who owns the hotel is the most amazing woman I have ever met. She helped me with booking taxi's, getting the bus timetables for me, to even heating up my dinner that I had purchased from the supermarket. There were massage chairs that I sat in for hours as I went in the low season of Winter and there wasn't many people staying there. The views from my room were absolutely gorgeous and easy to view the Northern lights from when they made an appearance. The whole place was so cosy and comfortable, not to mention very warm inside the whole place. There were amazing chocolates on the bottom floor which were also to die for, the bed was so comfortable and soft and I could of laid in it forever. I am recommending Altafjord to everyone I know and I definitely want to come back for Midnight summer.

This modern, central hotel is right around the corner from Storgata, Tromsø’s main shopping street. It offers free Wi-Fi, as well as bright and stylish guest rooms. The Polar Museum is 750 metres away. We had a wonderful stay - the hotel was conveniently located to all of Tromso's major downtown attractions / restaurants and were walking distance to all tour stopping points. The soup available for dinner was great!
