All accommodation includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an ensuite bathroom with bathrobes and luxury toiletries. Some rooms have a cooking and laundry facilities. It was centrally located. The room was comfortable and clean. It had a heated pool and the staff was friendly. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Auckland.

This stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Auckland CBD (Central Business District) is a short walk from the Viaduct Harbour and the Sky Tower. It offers free Wi-Fi and an off-site modern fitness centre. This hotel gets everything right: great shower, great bed, comfortable room (we had a free upgrade), a lovely atmosphere, fantastic breakfast, and highly attentive and nice staff. The bar/restaurant area is beautiful, with everything a little retro styled. The hotel is furthermore located in a very pretty central area of Auckland, within walking distance of the waterfront and central shopping areas.

The Great Ponsonby Arthotel is a charming 1890's heritage villa just 2 minutes stroll away from Ponsonby's vibrant centre. It offers rooms decorated with colours of the Pacific and traditional artworks. Free WiFi, parking and daily newspapers are provided. All round excellent. Very warm welcome, very clean, comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and will not hesitate to stay again if we're in Auckland.
