Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. My husband and I stayed one night on the way to mt cook. The room we stayed spacious . Suits both couple and family. Very clean. Will come again.

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Andy was so lovely and helped us with any questions we had. property was stunning and had the best views of the lake. So close to all activities and 100% recommend doing the stargazing and hot springs !

Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. This resort offers luxury accommodation, great views and is ideally positioned for exploring the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. It is a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. All the rooms and amenities available were great! We loved our stay!
