Alison and Ron are really friendly and helpful. The cottage is super clean, quiet and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. It's around a 30 minute drive to National Park and all the walks. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing, breakfast setup was very convenient, seems to be tucked away from everything, but still close to town (~15 min drive) and not far from Tongariro Alpine crossing car park (~40 min drive). Destiny on Fitzherbert, premium accommodation offering the latest in style and comfort. The room is beautifully decorated and appointed. The armchairs are fabulous, particularly as a footstool is provided. Everything was clean and the extra touches, like little packs of biscuits, were lovely.

Hotel Coachman is located in the heart of Palmerston North. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi is included. All rooms at Hotel Coachman feature satellite TV and ironing facilities. Lance on reception was great as was Steve in the Restaurant.

Anndion Lodge Motel offers views over the Wanganui River and is 4 minutes' drive from the main street. It features free unlimited WiFi and a salt water swimming pool. From the moment we booked I can't fault this place.
