Misfah Old House
Misfāh
Misfah Old House is located in the middle of the old village of Misfat Al Abryeen in Sultanat. It offers traditional accommodations and serves Omani cuisine cooked by local families.
All rooms are fitted with tiled floors and have got large windows. Each room offers mattresses, blankets and pillows. The bathroom is fitted with a shower. Some rooms include a shared bathroom.
Warm welcoming. Big room (the upper one) with toilets and shower, big terrace and a fantastic view over the palm trees.
Evening buffet with tasty local food especially the soup with pumpkin and white beans and the roasted cauliflower.
Refreshing non alcoholic beer available.
A special thank to the staff for being so devoted.
The place around is stunning, easy hike.
You have to be ready to meet many tourists as this guest house is famous in Europe.

Breakfast and dinner were included which was an unexpected bonus. Room was delightful and we had use of a sitting room with wonderful views of the mountain. Very clean with a boutique feel lovely towels. Air con was good and it was just a lovely room very authentic touches. Very attentive personal service from the staff and chef. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast on the terraces. A rustic hotel in a unique place. Lovely trail up to a high spot in Waken is just by the hotel.

The view from the balcony is really nice! The rooms were designed nicely and the staff provided water, juice, and coffee everyday. Customer service was amazing!

It was gorgeous. the hotel grounds are really something, rooms are well decorated and lovely to look at. Food was good, staff were friendly and location is absolutely incredible. What a good find.

Perfect location for the balcony walk, we did the r sunrise hike and it was just stunning! Super comfortable bed, great shower. Overall nice design and the staff was outstandingly kind and helpful. Very much recommend!

Charming and clean hotel 3 mins walk from Nizwa fort and souk. Design was a stunning tribute to the local architecture, with all the modern comforts (great A/C, many charging ports, modern bathroom, hairdryer, toiletries and coffee) very thoughtfully supplied. The attention to every detail here was incredible. Great dining options and a supermarket nearby too.
