Got what I paid for and thensome. Great location and really lovely facilities. Due to my delayed luggage the boss himself and the others in the reception met my needs, helped me acquire maintenance items and even helped me communicating with the airline concerning delivery of my luggage - all without hesitation. I was even offered postponed checkout which helped me alot.

Special shout out to the owner, Tula who is very helpful and chatty. She stored our luggage and got our laundry sorted while we were at Machu Picchu. Also, my sis forgot her important meds and she immediately sent the same all the way to cusco. N finally will miss my fav kitty, Nitty.

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley offers accommodation in the Living Inka City of Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and the gateway to the wonder of Machu Picchu. We stayed here for 4 nights. The host, Alex, is amazing and very friendly! Takes time to interact with his guests and guide them about the things to do around town. The hotel is beautiful! Great escape from the hustle and bustle of Cusco. It has a lovely garden and terrace, surrounded with a view of the sacred valley mountains. Breakfast was standard every day and delicious. There’s also unlimited supply of coca leaves. Rooms were well equipped and very comfy! Location wise it’s 10 mins walk from the centre.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

As a travel agent, I can be picky with my expectations but this property is highly recommended. The view from the patio is amazing and you can spend your time on it. The rooms, bathrooms are very clean. The bed is super comfortable. You can tell they put an effort. Most of all this looks like a family managed place and that reflects in the very warm welcome we received.

We were a group of 7 and we took 3 rooms . All room were beautifully furnished and all beds were so comfortable all of ya slept well. Freddy was a superb host. Very helpful.
