We did not have to use the taxi once. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Nice rooms and building, with good cleaners. We asked for a quiet room and we got our rest in the middle of the busy city.

Nearby Avenida da Liberdade is filled with high-end shops and boutiques. Chiado and Rossio are historical areas which guests may reach through a 15-minute Metro ride. The Fado room was small but really well equipped, had everything that I needed, a comfy double bed, full length mirror, central air, table and chairs, 2 windows and the view was stunning. It was really quiet and with the blackout curtains I had good sleep. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful! They even surprised me with chilled wine and cake for my birthday! The breakfast was nice and had a good variety to choose from.

Maria II are 2 km away and the lively Bairro Alto with its unique nightlife is 2.2 km away. Lisbon Portela Airport is 5.8 km away. Very clean rooms with balcony and a lot of bathrooms available. Leonardo from the front desk was super attentive and a great host, he helped us with everything we needed, would definitely return
