It features an outdoor pool with solarium and sun loungers. The place is lovely, very private and calm. It's so beautiful there. The owners are the kindest and make you feel like family, very resolutive and helpful with everything. The sea views form our terrace were amazing. We stayed in 4 places douring our trip and I'm confident in saying this was the BEST one!! + There's a lonely kitty

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. We liked literally everything ! The hotel has a variety facilities including an infinity pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, lots of outdoor lounge seatings. It offers complementary daily shuttle to Funchal and transfers to nearby levada walks. Breakfast was super delicious with many options! Best of all, the people are just amazingly friendly and kind! They went above and beyond to help us! One day we had to miss breakfast for a sunrise hike, the kitchen staff packed us sandwiches, water, fruit juices etc. Do yourself a favor and book a room in this hotel :) I hope we will be back soon!

The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The staff was Excellent. They went out of their way to help to recommend outstanding restaurants, activities and the happy hour was fantastic to meet other travelers. The location is excellent.

The outdoor terrace provides spectacular views of sunsets or leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun. Guests can also eat outdoors by the pool. The resort is the perfect place to spend your last day before heading back to the airport or for close access to Ponta da San Lorenco. The facilities are really nice. My husband and I enjoyed the restaurant, tennis court, and pools immensely. However, the hospitality we were shown was really what made this stay so incredible. I caught a cold while I was here and the front desk had tea sent to my room without us asking. They also asked me how I was feeling whenever they saw us, and really went above and beyond in every way.
