Staff was helpful. Dinner was fantastic, breakfast was delicious. This is the place where you want to spend your first honeymoon night in room 524.

Guimaraes is a gem - what a beautiful town with wonderful restaurants (restaurants recommended by hotel were outstanding!)

Casa do Ameal was a wonderful pittoresque place with a nice and quiet garden in which it is easy to relax. Our hosts were extremely kind and passionate about their work. It was a real pleasure.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful decorated with a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional touches. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, we slept so well each night.
