The basic accommodation at Linnéplatsens Hotell & Vandrarhem all has shared bathroom facilities, as well as views over the park or the street. Some feature a balcony. The hostel was spotless in all areas. We liked all the plants in the lounge area and also appreciated the blankets on the outside terrace, which were especially useful when it was windy. The automated check-in system worked well. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a good idea to use numbered boxes for guests to keep their food separate. Location was slightly out of the city centre but next to a wonderful park.

I needed to change rooms to one that has a bathtub, as I needed it for a baby, and the hotel staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant on the second floor had some of the best food in Gothenburg.

Stenpiren Station is just a 5-minute from the hotel and is connected by ferry, tram and bus. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Great dining room and environment. Very good hotel staff and very helpful!
