Lovely spacious airy room, with a really comfy bed. Location was good - on a quiet alley away from the noise. 20 min walk to the bazaar and main centre area. Staff were friendly and helpfully recommended a good laundry nearby.

I'm delayed in writing this review but this was such a lovely stop on the way to Laos. The view from this hotel is so beautiful, and the man and woman working there were so kind to me and the other two people taking the slow boat. They helped me fill out my visa paperwork, and got up early to make sure the 3 of us had fresh coffee and toast before the journey. My only regret is not waking up early enough to go for a run along the lovely river!

Grandma Kaew House is located 200 metres from Night Bazaar and Chiang Rai Bus Terminal. It offers modern air-conditioned rooms with balcony and free Wi-Fi. Everything was perfect and the hosts were helpful, accommodating, kind and helpful. They also rent out scooters in situ, which is extremely comfortable. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Was nice for a change! Rooms were comfortable and spacious
