Ivanka and her team are wonderful! The view from our room was incredible and breakfast in the morning was a delight. It was evident that the staff pays attention to all the details to make sure the room was clean and well stocked to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Boutique hotel decorated beautifully throughout. Bedrooms were well appointed with lovely bedding and soft furnishings. Nice bar area and a comfortable residents lounge. Lots of lovely coffee table books scattered about. Nice pool area although we didn’t use it due to the weather. Fantastic food in the restaurant!

Hout & About is a beautifully designed guest house with excellent service. The breakfast was just delicious with a stunning view from the terrace. The owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel at home! We can very much recommend to stay here!

The setting is stunning - you look over Hout Bay and across to Constantia. Throughout the carefully designed gardens there are lots of different places to sit -either in the sun or in the shade. Breakfast was beautifully presented and one of the very best we had during our stay in South Africa. The Deamhouse Team work together to ensure the guests are really well looked after, the attention to detail is excellent.
