This place is a gem, with a beautifully maintained garden. The owners have thoughtfully placed bird feeders around the property, attracting a variety of birds. The room was spotless and meticulously decorated, making it feel cozy and inviting. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, offering a great start to the day. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Hennie even took the time to give us excellent recommendations for the next leg of our journey.

Somerset Stables is set in a lush garden in the quieter part of Graaff-Reinet and offers guests secure parking and free WiFi throughout.

The rooms are air-conditioned, and feature a flat-scree satellite TV, tea-and-coffee making facilities, and a small fridge. Host Reinet was wonderful, made sure we had a booking at the best restaurant in town dinner, and made us the most delicious breakfast the following morning!
