Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout. The location is fabulous, looking over the gorge. The chalets are lovely, great bathroom facilities. Food is very good.

Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!

The spacious Honeymoon Suite has panoramic views of the ocean and the lagoon. What a wonderful property. The views are fantastic and the facilities were superb. We were fortunate to book room 1, which has a seperate living room and a huge decking area overlooking Plett bay. The staff were efficient and would do everything to assist. Accommodation comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a coffee maker. Some suites have a furnished patio, while others have a furnished balcony. I loved listening to the crashing waves as I went to sleep at this stunningly beautiful property. Friendly, accommodating staff. Lovely breakfast.

We received great recommendations and the staff was very accommodating.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering great local recommendations. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making it a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. I can’t recommend this place enough!

A seating area with a flat-screen satellite TV is in Dolphin’s well-appointed rooms. It features wooden ceilings and tiled floors. Each has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. The view from the breakfast area is amazing. The guesthouse is 2min walk from the beach. We had the beach all to ourselves. It was an amazing stay and we'll definitely be back.

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool.

The rooms at Turbine Hotel & Spa are elegantly decorated with light fabrics and parquet floors. The suites have a satellite LCD TV and extra long beds. The room is small but has a patio, which made it feel cozy and inviting. It was easy to sit outside and enjoy the view, especially in the mornings—watching people swim and others paddle small boats.

Falcons View Manor is 1 km from Knysna Harbour, where you can rent a boat and explore the Knysna National Lakes Area. The hotel is 5 km from Simola Golf Club, which was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus. My stay at Falcons Manor exceeded expectations. I stayed for a week and planned to do hiking and yoga while in the area. The staff were superb, they provided great advice, connected me with local services and guides; they were thoughtful and helpful. The food was excellent, dinners and breakfast. The breakfast choices were many, with lots of fresh fruits and great coffee. The pool was great and the gardens are lovely. A very relaxing and quiet location. I can’t recommend the place enough! Thank you for everything!
