Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Beautiful setting and an easy drive after a day spent at Storms River mouth. Rooms large and comfy with views of the gorge. Plenty to offer: sauna, spa, pool, playground for kids - one night here was not long enough. Fantastic meals and a great wine cellar, the dining room with beautiful views of the gorge and waterfalls.

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. Location, attention to detail, overall brilliant.

Offering views of the Keurboom Lagoon and the ocean, La Vista Lodge is a 3-minute drive from the centre of Plettenberg Bay. It features an outdoor pool with sun loungers. What a wonderful property. The views are fantastic and the facilities were superb. We were fortunate to book room 1, which has a seperate living room and a huge decking area overlooking Plett bay. Overlooking the Indian ocean, Dune Beach House is set on the beachfront in Wilderness. It features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. Beautiful room and shared areas, right on the beach, delicious breakfast and really friendly staff and owner. Service 12 out of 10 points ;-) Would definitely be back.

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. Everything was exceptional. The staff, property, room and facilities were fantastic. We received great recommendations and the staff was very accommodating.

The luxurious, 5-star Alexander Guest House offers individually designed rooms and suites. A spacious sun terrace offers guests a place to relax beside the outdoor pool. The breakfasts were fabulous. Service was excellent friendly and prompt

Featuring a sea-facing sun deck, this beachfront guesthouse offers direct access to the sandy white beaches of Wilderness. It offers spacious rooms with a balcony and free Wi-Fi access. The view from the breakfast area is amazing. The guesthouse is 2min walk from the beach. We had the beach all to ourselves. It was an amazing stay and we'll definitely be back.

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. Absolutely everything to like about this hotel. The location on Thesen Island the views, the friendly smiling staff and their willingness to assist in any way. Quite location but with everything on hand. Not just a mini bar but a well equipped kitchenette and a nice touch with a fresh lemon on the chopping board. Just perfect. Even the loo had a view!

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. My stay at Falcons Manor exceeded expectations. I stayed for a week and planned to do hiking and yoga while in the area. The staff were superb, they provided great advice, connected me with local services and guides; they were thoughtful and helpful. The food was excellent, dinners and breakfast. The breakfast choices were many, with lots of fresh fruits and great coffee. The pool was great and the gardens are lovely. A very relaxing and quiet location. I can’t recommend the place enough! Thank you for everything!

With an outdoor pool facing the Knysna Lagoon, Waterfront Lodge offers spacious rooms with satellite TV and free private parking. Simola Golf Course is 4 km away. I had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Knysna! The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. The facilities were excellent, and the place itself had such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by providing us with helpful information, not just about Knysna but also other cities we planned to visit. They even had leaflets with great recommendations. The breakfast was another highlight—freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this guest house for anyone visiting Knysna!
