The BLISS Basel Residence is run by a very friendly and helpful Lebanese family. The same family also runs a Lebanese restaurant attached to the accommodation with delicious food that is also quite cheap for Switzerland. The owner is very friendly, attentive, accommodating and takes good care of his guests. The holiday apartments are equipped with everything you need. If something is missing or not in order, the owner will take care of it and remedy the situation or offer another solution. The apartments are spotless clean, cozy and the beds are very comfortable. We felt very comfortable. By paying the tourist tax you receive a ticket that entitles you to unlimited use of public transport in Basel and the entire Northwest Switzerland tariff association, so you can also get to Basel Airport with it.

I had a great stay at Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel. The hostel is located in a former silo building that has been renovated and transformed into a modern and stylish accommodation - one of the most stylish and nicest accommodation that I have ever experienced! We shared the room (4bed dorms) with 2 other people, everything was super clean - even the shared bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty. The hostel is close to the tram station and the city center (you can easily walk there), so it was easy to explore Basel and its attractions. I would highly recommend Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel to anyone looking for a unique and affordable stay in Basel.

My stay at Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel in Basel was absolutely perfect! We came because of the Eurovision, and had great time. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help – from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly and pleasantly. The rooms were modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful design details that made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic; varied, fresh, and delicious, with something for everyone. The breakfast area has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that made mornings feel special and had modern appliances for guests to use. The location is great, with excellent access to public transportation, making it easy to reach any part of the city. It is easy to go to the airport, St.Jakobshalle and city centre. A great bonus is the option for online check-out, which takes less than two minutes – super convenient and efficient and you can do it 0-24. The hotel is new (3 years) and located in the city center. My room was big and comfortable, well equipped and maintained. The cleaning was excellent, and they did everything I asked with a smile. Breakfast was great, with a variety of food and also a menu that offered some more options. Great hotel by all aspects.

Delicious breakfast for a fair price, with a very nice view to the internal garden.The room wasn't the biggest room but it had enough space for 2 people and it was very well equipped, clean and comfortable.
