The staff on the front desk were exceptional. They went out of their way to make us more comfortable after arriving from Berlin on the overnight train. The room was large and with a very cool and funky interior design. The breakfast was very good. The position is perfect for a short visit to Basel.

The location of the apartment, in the heart of Rheingasse gives some of the best views of Basel's city centre. The apartment is perfectly sound-proof, a very important feature as Rheingasse is one of the few places where there is some noise (nothing that could annoy at night, though). Amenities are perfect, the apartment has more space than expected and its quality really surprised us. The hosts were always careful and helpful, providing us with extra coffee cups even. The sofa-bed is an actual bed when open too (quite big even). A well-deserved 10.

This is a very spacious apartment in an excellent location for accessing the old town, museums and galleries. The local tram network is three minutes walk from the apartment if you wish to explore outside the centre of the city. There is a lovely footpath alongside the river just outside the apartment. The views to the old town are beautiful. If we had gone in the summer we would have made use of the rooftop terrace - an absolute gem. The apartment was spotless. There is a full kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lift to the apartment . The host was very good at communicating with us prior to our stay, during our stay to make sure we were happy with everything, and to let us know check-out arrangements. We would highly recommend this apartment.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade.

We had a room with a view of the Rhine and the promenade. Beautiful location. Lively in the day, quiet and romantic at night. We ate twice at the outside restaurant and complementary breakfast inside. Staff were very friendly. We Arrived past midnight because of plane delays and we were greeted and told we could do the paperwork in the morning. I did email that we were delayed. The room was very clean. This boutique hotel has history so don’t expect a hotel chain style. I love its charm. Thankyou for a wonderful stay in Basel. Also great location for catching the bus or walking over the bridge to the old part of town.
