Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. Breakfast buffet was great. Huge amount of choices and great view from the 49th floor. The lounge on the 48th floor was really nice. With nice drinks and a delicious buffet. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely and very helpful.

The rooms are spacious, nice and clean with very comfy beds. Breakfast is excellent with great choice. Staff is nice and at reception there is always at least one English-speaking person. The hotel is a good option if you want to have some relaxing days outside the city center, but without problem to go there (approx. 30 minutes taxi ride). Restaurants can be found directly opposite the hotel or approx. 2 km away at the lakeside.

Amazing hostel, I wholeheartedly recommend it. I stayed in a private room and honestly the room was like a room in a hotel, rather than a hostel. Super clean room and bathroom, big comfy bed, spacious bathroom. The staff was also amazing and very helpful. 10/10
