Absolutely everything about Villa Centralen was fantastic. The communication before we arrived was excellent. Gaining access to the keys from the dropbox was simple. Upon entering the apartment we couldn't believe how clean and well kept the place was. It had taken us literally 10 minutes from the central station to being stood inside. On arrival we read the message regarding wifi access. There are instructions on how to operate some of the lights around the kitchen. The seating was very comfy as was the bed. It was around -10 during our visit yet we were lovely and toasty and warm in the apartment. We honestly couldn't find fault. It was a fantastic visit to a fantastic city. We will definitely try to book Villa Centralen when we return to Helsinki in the future. Thank you from both of of us for an amazing visit.

The apartment in Kamppi (which is announced here) had a double booking but info about it came at the last moment. Fortunately they had an extra apartment available so I actually stayed in Punavuori and not in Kamppi. I appreciate the flexibility.
Attractively situated in the Kallio district of Helsinki, Citybox Helsinki is situated 1.4 km from Helsinki Cathedral, 1.6 km from Helsinki Central Station and 1.7 km from Helsinki Olympic Stadium.

Amazing hostel in the city centre, easy to get to from train station. Facilities were amazing, very clean and well thought-through. Comfy beds, kitchen downstairs with crockery, cutlery, fridges, kettles and microwaves. There are coffee machines (for separate pay), but everything else is free of charge. There is also laundy-dryer room (for a separate pay), which was very much appreciated. There is plenty to do on cite before going to the room (board games, table tennis, TV). Would definitely stay again here or in any other City Box location
