Excellent location in Menteng district. Easy access for visiting Jakarta. The hôtel itself has excellent value for money. The staff (reception and restaurant) were very kind and helpful. Really à good base to start discovering Jakarta and Indonesia.

All, from the moment of booking at Booking com till the check out of my stay! It was an sentimental journey and they provided me with all the things you can imagine from private vegetarian cooking for me to make my room feel home! I had booked so many extra's that way! Nothing was negative, tea and coffee with something was complementary in all areas of the hotel. Dinner was part of the room and this was cooked delicious each day different. I (Vegetarian) had an special treatment which can only dreamed off! Not a single letter of negative things to mention, when I left they gave me presents for on the way to enjoy the good local Indonesian food. It made my memories from the past so special. From all the hotels in Jakarta, I can only recommend this historical place. If you check in you become part of it, and no doubts this is not my last stay in the Hermitage from now onwards! I can only recommend more sentimental travellers to see what they offer and book their stay, please do.

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s bold and original design immediately caught our attention — it’s full of character, with stunning paintings, graphics, and intricate details everywhere. Some might find the ambiance a bit dark, but we absolutely loved the atmospheric and artistic feel.
Our room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and plush pillows that you just sink into — though we personally prefer firmer ones, it was still great! The entire hotel is immaculately clean, and there’s a pleasant, subtle aroma throughout the space. We enjoyed exploring the hotel’s facilities, starting with a visit to the rooftop bar upon arrival. But what truly stood out for us was the well-equipped gym and the spacious library.
The breakfast was exceptional. The buffet had a fantastic selection of dishes, from dim sum to sushi, and there was also an à la carte menu with additional options.
A huge thank you to the wonderful staff — from the friendly porter who greeted us at the entrance to the reception and restaurant teams, everyone was professional and welcoming. If we find ourselves in Jakarta again, we will definitely stay here again!

The team at Grand Hyatt were so friendly, helpful and engaging. They helped with directions and recommendations for anything we asked. We loved the evening we spent at the bar with the fabulous singers who were so much fun. The pool is great and the location of the hotel is actually perfect. Would live to stay here again if Jakarta is again in my travel plans. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Fairmont is definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in Jakarta. Although I only had a short stay, the room I stayed in was comfortable and the hotel's facilities I utilised (gym, pool, breakfast buffet and access to Plaza Senayan) are excellent.
I have to also express my gratitude to the hotel's team members. Every interaction from the moment I arrived to the day I checked out was met with both friendliness and professionalism and it made my stay all the more special.
I look forward to staying at Fairmont the next time I'm in Jakarta.
