After reading the reviews, we chose the Deluxe room and had no issues at all. Pool was enjoyable, the gardens are set very well indeed. It is an oasis in the city desert. Reception staff were lovely, as we're the breakfast bar staff. Good selection of foods and tasty cinnamon buns every morning. The pizza was very good, and the guys preparing it are cool. It's low season currently, so in high season the pool would get very busy I think.

If you are staying in Yogyakarta for more than a couple of days, this place is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Malioboro. There a few places to eat nearby and Malioboro is a walkable distance (better to take a Grab during the heat of the day). There room was spacious and we had free use of the patio area, kitchen and living areas. The living areas are warm during the day but there are ceiling fans to help alleviate the heat somewhat. The staff is amazing - they are friendly and we were always greeted with a welcoming smile. They kept the property clean and the landscaping lush - a comfortable place to pass the day when we just wanted to relax. A lovely stay!

It is closed to Malioboro, but not in crowded place so it is so comfortable to take rest. Room and bed are also very comfortable

The location was great and very convinient the inside is full of plants and very green, its a small jungle inside the city. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, we had help to book the ferry tickets and also transfer taxi and its really good to see that people still look after you, which makes the stay even better. The room was clean, confortable and nicely decorated. Another big plus it was the breakfast pack prepared as we had a tour very early in the morning and having an area to refill bottled water. There is a big issue yet with plastic waste and single use. Hotels should pressure more the Goverment to educate people about waste management and reducing the use. We see the more touristic areas being cleaned and as well hotels trying to reduce, still there is a long way to go and we just like to leave this suggestion for a better future in this amazing places.
