We are so happy we found this place- it’s the best find of our 2 month Asia trip. The property looks absolutely stunning, so well maintained and so lush, it feels like a little paradise surrounded by the frangipani trees and other beautiful flowers. Located on the South cliff the beach is just a 5 min walk away and the hustle of the North cliff is accessible but not on your doorstep. We rented a scooter at the rental place conveniently located just opposite of the villa to get around easily. The rooms are incredibly thoughtfully designed. We absolutely loved the authentic touches. Simple, non pretentious and effortlessly stylish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, thank you Babu, Raju & Sid, we have felt so at home. Thank you for being so available and communicative and warm. We really enjoyed the breakfast and were very happy we took the dinner package as well- delicious, home cooked, comforting food which left us happy and satisfied. We are leaving relaxed, inspired and grateful to have discovered this little corner of beauty in Kerala.

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! We loved everything about our stay here - so good that we decided to extend our three night booking to include a further three nights 😊 The accommodation was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and peaceful (although just a short walk to the cliff). The host helped us with a making a variety of bookings (train, taxi, great massage). Tea/coffee/filtered water facilities in communal hallway. Feeling of it being very safe and secure. Would definitely recommend!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this brand-new hostel. The entire space is thoughtfully designed, especially for those interested in "workation" or yoga practice. The comfort level is top-notch; the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the washroom facilities were impeccably neat and clean. They’ve ensured maximum privacy and convenience with essentials like curtains, a reading light, and a charging socket available at every single bed. The location is a perfect balance. It’s set in a wonderfully peaceful location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main cliff to ensure quiet contemplation, but still perfectly accessible. A grocery store, scooty rental, and a local cafe are all just 100 meters away. The small communal kitchen is a huge plus for cooking basic meals, and the free water refilling station shows they care about sustainability. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel to anyone seeking a tranquil base for remote work or a place to deepen their yoga practice. I definitely plan to return soon!
