Spotlessly clean, comfortable room. Very spacious, especially by Japanese standards. Friendly staff who speaks English. Easy access to subway and Kinsetsu lines (only a few stops from Kyoto Station). There was English manual on how to use all the equipment (washing machine etc.) in the room, which was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Kyoto.

Our stay at Inari House was excellent. The apartment is really spacious. 2 toilets, separate bathroom, comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen were more than we expected. The apartment has three floors and the stairs are narrow and quite steep. However, our 83 year old grandmother was able to walk up and down them. The host sent us information well in advance and answered our questions quickly. He even helped us to communicate with a local courier service. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Though it is an adult hotel with minimum front desk service, the room is a suite with 2 separate rooms and very clean. There are also jacuzzi bath, massage chair, super sized comfortable bed, mini fridge, etc., pretty much what you might see in a 5* hotel or even more. The room is cleaned every day. The self checkin style of this hotel is seamless. Simple instructions to follow. Even the washing machine instructions has its own manual in english. We can get ourselves checkin quickly because we don’t have to deal with anyone but ourselves. The room is spacious. They separate the toilet and shower room. The toilet seat is heated. The toilet slippers are the high quality type, it’s not like the ordinary hotel room slippers.
