Simply the best room we ever stayed in - very comfortable beds but the widest (10 metres plus ?) ceiling to floor almost all glass window giving spectacular city views especially at night time. Most friendly helpful staff and a special shout out to Satsuki who welcomed us so well and the staff who did our room so beautifully for or special anniversary and also to the friendly bar staff especially Irene (Irish spelling 😇)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere made for a great night's sleep. The hotel’s location was excellent — close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet peaceful enough to feel like a retreat from the city’s bustle. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality toiletries to the thoughtful touches like complimentary water and coffee. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The service throughout our stay was consistently attentive without being intrusive. A standout feature was the excellent Chinese restaurant on-site — the food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return on our next visit. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, quality, and excellent service.

location a lil bit far and confusing since it's our first time with my family, but we adapt quickly the route to hotel. there's a lot of foodies around hotel, and the best one for me personally is the lawson at 4th floor, it's super convinience and they sell a creme brule from "ohayo" that doesnt found anywhere else as my knowledge in kyoto not in sevel and family mart, maybe it's only lawson limited but since it's rare near my hotel so far i like it so much.Onsen also a great one for APA exclusive, neat for relaxing after trip a whole day. using connecting room at 34th floor with great view although the windown and room a lil bit small. but i can live with that. for me everything is good.
