The staff (especially the manager), the facilities, the location were all perfect. The staff cannot do enough for you! It is extremely close to the jetty which makes getting to the property very easy on the ferry. We had rain everyday but that did not stop us having the most beautiful stay. Food is also very good.

Choosing a resort and location for Koh Rong was extremely difficult, Until we arrived I had no idea whether this was going to be a good location for us. Pulling up at the jetty was so picturesque. Upon arrival we were stunned with how beautiful both the resort and the beach actually were. The beach really does have white, white sand and beautiful clear water. Our welcome by Jodie on arrival was fantastic. She welcomed us with a smile and explained everything we needed to know about the resort and facilities. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was the most comfortable we had in our 3-week travel in Cambodia. Breakfast was also a highlight - with a huge selection of buffet items and the best range of fruit of any buffet breakfast we had. Jodie was a great help throughout our stay. The other great thing about the location of the resort is that there is also a local village bordering the resort - with a range of great, local restaurants as well. This provided extra choice and atmosphere. Everything about Golden Beach Resort was amazing and we would return again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a great stay!

Our recent three-night honeymoon stay at the Secret Garden on Koh Rong island was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the hotel's location, facilities, staff, and cleanliness. Our flight from Siem Reap got delayed so that we lost the last ferry to Koh Rong, but the staff at Secret Garden went above and beyond to get us to the hotel by providing taxi and ferry after hours. The hotel is located on Pagoda beach, which was the perfect spot for us to relax and soak up the sun. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was conveniently located near the speedboat pier to Sihanoukville. The hotel rents out scooters, and we rented a scooter during our stay, which allowed us to explore the island more freely and at our own pace. One of the highlights of our stay was the deluxe beachfront room we booked. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the ocean. The room was also impeccably clean, which we greatly appreciated. We also took advantage of the hotel's spa services, which were excellent. The spa was clean and tidy, and the treatments we received were incredibly relaxing. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and destress.

Since it was Chinese New Year everything was completely booked out and I could only get the wooden bungalow, even though I much prefered a concrete one. But also the wooden bungalow is very nice. It's extremely clean, fans are strong, water pressure is great and the bed very comfy. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Perfect location, exceptional staff. Cool vibes, well designed space: Beach is being constantly cleaned, breakfast is a buffet - fresh fruits, well prepared eggs and vegetables, homemade yoghurt and much more. Restaurant is also quite nice, good chefs. DuringHappy hour time you can get delicious drinks at affordable prices. Very pleasant playlists ;)

This place is an absolute gem. The moment you arrive, you feel a warm, homely vibe that makes it so much more than just a hotel. The beach is charming – clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The cuisine is excellent, with every meal feeling fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. A special mention goes to Mael, the owner, who treats every guest as if they were part of his own family. His presence, care, and passion for the place make all the difference – you don’t just stay here, you belong here. Our son really liked the dogs they have and their names - Happy and Fatman . We truly can’t wait to come back. Already counting the days.
