Good location, close to the Galle Fort. Very friendly Italian owners, best coffee (moka and capuccino) we had during our trip! Clean rooms, good breakfast!

10/10. The best rest, delicious cuisine, huge portions. We visited Nirmala Villa during the rainy season of September-October, so most likely there were few arrivals, and two pools were completely at our disposal. The location is 9/10, I deducted a point for the fact that it's scary to walk in the evening, but in general the area is calm and the beach is not far away in 10-15 minutes. In general, you do not pay attention to such trifles due to the excellent time spent in this super hotel. The staff is very supportive and kind, always ready to help. The rooms are big and the view from balconies are stunning 😍

Location was great, overlooking Galle, Jungle Beach and the ocean. Rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. Meals were great, with an inhouse restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also serve drinks, and you can choose to sit inside or out on the balcony.

First of all, in reality AURORA is much more beautiful than on the pictures! Rooms are very spacious and cozy, bathrooms on the floor amazing, balconies with the view on the green plants - just wow! AC perfectly working. Hot water with great pressure. Breakfasts were tasty, with fruits, toasts, fried eggs, fresh juice. Swimming pool - really nice. And of course AURORA Team - so nice, helpful and always smiling :) Our little son Theo loved them so much!

Everything! This hotel is an oasis in the heart of Galle Fort. It is absolutely beautiful with antiques and art throughout whilst also feeling very homely and comfortable. It was our last stop on a three week trip and definitely the highlight in terms of accommodation. The pool is perfect for a dip and is surrounded by greenery to keep it cool in the heat of the day. Next to the pool is a beautiful covered area with comfy seating to lounge on when you need a break from Galle Fort and the heat. This is also where breakfast is served at a communal table meaning you often get to meet other guests and share travel stories- everyone we met was lovely! Only 4 rooms so a max of 8 people in total. The rooms are not huge but big enough and a very comfortable bed and again decorated beautifully. The staff are so accommodating. We arrived early and they held our bags and allowed an early check in and also allowed us to stay late on our last day as we had a late flight. Location is perfect. One street back from Peddlars and close to everything. Very safe and friendly area. Today they brought out some bread so we could feed the monkeys in the courtyard trees and they came and ate from our hands! Breakfast was delicious and fantastic service.

I stayed for 5 days in february.The location was perfect, directly on the beach. One night we saw a big turtle comming up on the beach ! My room was clean and well maintained, had AC, MOSQUITO NET, hot water shower and wiifii that actually WORKED.. The staff was very nice, friendly and efficient. The restaurant had local food on the menu as well as european. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options!! Everything I ordered was very good and well presented. Breakfast was delicious. Sri lankan bread, jam and jelly and a choice of eggs, french toast , curd, pancakes, roti and dhal, coffer or tea and a fruit plate. The hotel also had a pizza oven, a sweets corner and served cocktails. They also provided a laundry service. I highly recommend this hotel and I would love to stay there my next trip. The hotel also arranged a car to drive me to the airport and gave me a packed breakfast.

Amazing place in the south of Sri Lanka! They built a beautiful resort with 9 individual guest houses that perfectly integrate into the surroundings. Food and entertainment program fits in very nicely. Staff and management really goes the extra mile to make your stay exceptional.
