We booked this place at the last minute because of issues with our previous hotel at Chefchaouen. Great location with easy access by car and you can easily walk to the major spots in Medina. The view from the rooftop is amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have made the right choice.

Great place in the middle of chefchouen. The host, Salwa has been really gentle since our arrival. Great room, great terrace and great food: you can also order breakfast and dinner before and they made up it for u in few time. It’s like to stay at home, but in Chechaouen!!! Super!

The place is amazing. Loved the accommodation and location, very easy to find and close to everything. Staff were very helpful, offered guidance and advices. Would definetely recommend this place and will come stay here again with pleasure. The bed linen was very soft and comfortable. A tip: the blue taxis are the official ones in Chefchaouen if you need to take one.

Pastela for dinner was home made and delicious. Breakfast also made in kitchen on terrace and was delicious. Terrace view very good. Hotel quaint and very visually impressive with small sitting room at entrance that looks like Berber living room according to my guide. Room was cozy and warm. Hot water worked well.

My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. Brilliant location and excellent host. Came to meet us at the car and deal with quite a hectic town centre parking experience which I’m not sure is legit. Room was really amazing and location was very central in the medina
